The service

Cavendish is bookkeeping and tax-estimation software. It does not prepare or file tax returns, does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed tax professional. Figures are estimates based on the information you provide and published tax parameters that may change.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your records, for verifying every figure against official IRS and state instructions before filing, and for keeping your login secure. You must be 18 or older and use the service only for your own or your household's records.

Subscriptions

Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until canceled. Cancel any time from the account page; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Bank connections

Bank and card connections are provided by Plaid Inc. or SimpleFIN and are subject to their terms. You authorize them to share transaction data with us when you link an account.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and the operator is not liable for penalties, interest, lost refunds, or other damages arising from reliance on its output.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms with notice on this page. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You may close your account at any time.
